Edward Kaplan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Kaplan of Asheville, North Carolina, born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his significant other Audrey Kaplan; his parents, Evelyn Kaplan (Steuer) and Sidney Kaplan; and his son Kenneth (Ellen). He is survived by: his son Michael Kaplan; his daughter-in-law Elle Toby; his grandchildren, Matthew Kaplan, Laura Kaplan, Raina Schunk and Samantha Kaplan; his great grandchildren, Cruz, Kane, Lyla Kaplan, Zoey Schunk, Phoebe and Iris Frumolt; his niece Gail Lefkowitz; and his nephews, Kelly and David Lefkowitz.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in Edward's memory to the Four Seasons Foundation (fourseasonsfdn.org) which supports Four Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care.
