She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Stuart and Welzie Carr Stewart; her husband Joel Clifford Dockery; and her daughters, Betty Meadows (Tommy) and Brenda Warren (Roger).
She is survived by: her children, Donna Warren (Jeff), Trina Smith (Luke), Patsy Smith (Glenn), Joel Dockery, Jr. (Alice), Mike Dockery and Roger Dockery (Shirley). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Green Hills Cemetery (25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
