With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald Layne Worley of Asheville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Donald Layne left this world on July 25, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bascombe Worley and Flora Louise Jenkins Worley; his wife Charlene Worley; and his brother Charles Worley. He is survived by: his brother Ronald Worley (Pauline); his daughters, Kimberly Hawkins (Doug) and Tara Whiteside (Jeff); his stepdaughter Amber Davis; his granddaughters, Amanda Edwards (Chris) and Allison Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Emma Anderson, Emmy and Andrew Edwards.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his loving memory to Starnes Cove Baptist Church, 149 Starnes Cove Road Asheville, NC 28806.
