She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hyatt and Joan Hyatt; her husband Richard Proctor; her son James Saunders; and her sister Sandra Hyatt.
She is survived by: her significant other Timothy M. Pressley; her children, Johnathan Saunders of Old Fort, NC and Christine Elizabeth Proctor of Asheville, NC; her brother Eric Hyatt (Angela) of Swannanoa, NC; her niece Hannah Hyatt; and her nephew Matthew Hyatt.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Penland Family Funeral Home (125 South Ave, Swannanoa, NC 28778). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
