Darlene Pressley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Pressley (Asheville, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Allen and Virginia Mae Buckner Allen; and her grandson Kairat Pressley. She is survived by: her husband Donald Gary Pressley, Sr.; her children, Amanda Warren (William), Donald Gary Pressley, Jr. (Elizabeth Skye) and Daniel Pressley (Rebecca); and her sisters, Mary Roper-Whitt and Barbara Ingle. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1498 Sand Hill Rd, Candler, NC 28715).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hoopers Creek Baptist Church's Disaster Relief Efforts, 71 Hoopers Creek Church Rd., Fletcher, NC 28732.
