He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Franklin Coleman Gilbert and Betty Lee Gilbert. He is survived by: his parents, Kevin Lynn Gilbert and Amy Michelle Cantrell Gilbert of Bristol, VA.; his sister Gwendolyn Fries (Jesse) of Bristol, TN; his niece Marnie Elaine Fries; his grandparents, Pamela Sue Cantrell "Meme" and James E. Cantrell of Bristol, TN; and his close friend Kyle Oyer (Christian Halla).
