He was predeceased by: his parents, Malachi Kelly and Ethel Greer Kelly; his son Raymond Leroy Kelly; and his siblings, Lucille K. Fowler, Mary K. Smith, John H. Kelly, Luke Kelly and Thomas E. Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Booker Kelly; his children, Ethel Kelly, Donna Kelly and Cornell Kelly Jr.; his grandchildren, Tomica Kelly, LaTonya Kelly Mole (Ronday) and Candace K. Toliver (James); his great grandchildren, Antwan Kelly, Jamal Kelly, Jade and Russell Toliver; and his brother-in-law Lewis Booker. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ray Funeral and Cremation Service (1373 Sweeten Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28803). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (1 Chapel of Faith Dr, Candler, NC 28715).
