He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Nell Sanders and Charles Aycock Bennett Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Emily Lacey (Landis) of Asheville, NC, Rachael Corn (Jackson) of Waynesville, NC, Charles Bennett (Jaclyn Parker) of Eugene, Oregon and Rebecca Bennett of Asheville, NC; his grandchildren, Millie, Levi and Logan; and his sister Joyce Hubbard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Anders-Rice Funeral Home (1428 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
