She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascomb Chandler and Devonna Jones Chandler; her husband Denver E. Grant, Sr.; and her children-in-law, Barry Clayton, Jessie Grant and Linda Grant.
She is survived by: her children, Denver Grant, Jr. (Jeanette), Donna Clayton, Doris Garris (LaBaron) and Robert A. Grant; her grandchildren, Michael Grant (Stephanie), Christy Tripi (Sean), Leslie Davis (Nathan), Josh Garris (Donna), Travis Clayton (Amy) and Russell Clayton (Melissa); and her brother Glenn Chandler. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the East Asheville United Methodist Church (48 Browndale Rd, Asheville, NC 28805). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
