He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ray and Betty Porter Ray; his siblings, Jennifer Ray, Jerome Allen Ray, Alvin James Ray and Eric Ray; and his mother-in-law Lureatha Clement.
He is survived by: his siblings, Micky Ray (Paula) of Asheville, Corey Ray (Karen) of Asheville, Cynthia Carter (Brian) of Asheville, Portia Edgerton (Marvin) of Wilkesboro, NC, Kecia (Robert) of Asheville and Stacia Sellers (Rod) of HIlton Head, SC; and his sons, Tyrell Green Sr. and Gerrell Martin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
