She was predeceased by: her parents, Rodney C. Hardy and Harriett Hardy (Hickok); and her brother Rodney D. Hardy of Edina, MN.. She is survived by: her former husband Dr. Cedric Porter, Jr.; her children, Cedric "Ric" Porter of Asheville and Sarah Porter Springer (Philipp) of Zürich; her child-in-law Switzerland; her grandchildren, Julian and Leah; her great grandchild Rodney Porter (Jennie) of Charleston, SC; and also, George and Tedford.
