She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lafayette Summit and Mary Louise Floyd Summit; her husband Garland Smith; her daughter Judy Safrit; her great grandchildren, Chris Bullard and Farrah Hayden; and her brothers, Floyd Summit and Joe Summit.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Smith (Marilyn), Jerry Smith (Amber) and Kay Williamson (Kermit); her grandchildren, Keith Smith, Derrick Smith, Melissa Safrit, Michelle Lankford, Misty Trucks, Carrie Shores, Caden Smith, Kevin Hayden and Terri Leonard; her great grandchildren, Kaylen, Ryan, Mathew, Arron, Ashley and Nathan; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Summit and Joann Summit.
