He was predeceased by: his father James Robert Trotter; and his brother Nickey Trotter. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Brower of Thomasville, Danial Trotter (Linda) of Trinity and Douglas Trotter (Cindy) of Winston-Salem; his mother Gladys Trotter of Asheboro; and his brothers, Gary Trotter of Sophia and Wesley Trotter of Trinity. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
