He is survived by: his wife Tina Thomas Cagle; his children, Holly Ward (Josh Crigger) of Asheboro and Matthew Cagle (Katie Merritt) of Asheboro; and his sisters, Betty Ann Cagle of Asheboro, Nancy Cagle of Asheboro and Lois Cagle of Asheboro.
