He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Edgar Brown; and his wife Willa Dean Brown. He is survived by: his daughter Valerie Brown of Asheboro; his mother Rachel Cagle Brown of Asheboro; and his siblings, Carolyn Hinshaw (Ronnie) of Asheboro, Dennis Brown (Nora) of Seagrove and Harvey Brown (Nabila) of Raleigh. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
