He was predeceased by: his parents, Wid Henry Nance, Sr. and Violet York Nance. He is survived by: his wife Sue Nance; his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Jarrell (Steve), Donna Renee Bowers and Amanda Dawn Johnson (Tyler); his siblings, Anita Nance, Melinda Nance Garner (Steve) and Joey Nance (Kristle); and his grandchildren, Kevin Jarrell (Natalie), Brittany Goldston (James), Travis Hayes (Katelyn), Chrissy Vanzant (Johnny), Trista Hayes, Daylon Hayes, Rhett Johnson and Remi Johnson. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203).
