He is survived by: his grandchildren, Capricia D. Edwards and Christopher Alexander Gladden; and his stepgrandchild Kenneth Lewallen of Amanda Walker. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; four step great-great grandchildren; and a host nieces and nephews.
