She was predeceased by: her parents, Knute Haugen and Elsie Olson Haugen. She is survived by: her husband Henry S. Burress; her children, Cathy Hinek (Arjay) of Raleigh, Ron Burress (Karen) of Randleman and Tim Burress (Heather) of Greensboro; her siblings, Bernice Blaisdell of Winston-Salem, Marilyn Henderson of Edmond, OK and Dennis Haugen (Rita) of Edmond, OK; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Burress (Stephanie) of Shelby, NC, Megan Allred (Rick) of Hampstead, NC, Joshua Burress, Brennan, Cameron Burress of Greensboro and Cecelia Tynan (William) of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
