She was predeceased by: her husband James Issac Cranford; her parents, Theodore Kern and Laura Freeman Kern; her siblings, Norma Webb, Agnes Kern, Carolyn Dunn, Leon Kern and David Rex Kern; and her daughter-in-law Carol Cranford.
She is survived by: her children, Katrina Wilson of Asheboro and Kevin Cranford of Asheboro; her sister Linda Beane of Mt. Gilead; her grandmother Ruth Maness of Star; her stepchildren, Judy Beane (Joe) of Asheboro and James Vinson Cranford of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Alyssia Wilson, Ryan Wilson (Shae) and Terry Wilson (Tina); and her great grandchildren, Kaley Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Mason Wilson, Noah Wilson and Ravenna Wilson.
