She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Burns; and her son-in-law Eddie Grant. She is survived by: her children, Sam Burns of Asheboro, Scott Burns of Bolivia, Jimmy Burns (Wendy) of Newport and Lou Ann Grant of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Kelly S. Robertson (Gary), Michael Burns (Jessi), Amanda Jones (Jeremy), Stacy Swindle (Ricky), Kevin Burns and Eric Grant (April); and her great grandchildren, Madison Boyd, Nora, Holden, Davis, Mackey, Judith Burns, Cameron Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Emory, Karson, Ariebella Swindle, Ellie Burns and Emma Campbell.
