He was predeceased by: his parent Samuel L. Arrington; his wife Doris Whitby Arrington; and his brothers, Buell Arrington, Kermit Arrington, Clarence Arrington, Glen Arrington and Omar Arrington.
He is survived by: his parent Nell Richardson Arrington; his children, Tim Arrington of Asheboro, Karen A. Hampton (David) of Stokesdale, Angela Arrington of Oak Ridge, Vance Trogdon, Jr. of Kernersville, John Trogdon (Cindy) of Asheboro and Alan Trogdon (Emilie) of Winston-Salem; his siblings, Edna A. Bissett of Stokesdale and Fred Arrington of Pilot Mountain; his grandchildren, Keri White, Chad Trogdon, Lane Trogdon, Carrie T. Adkins, Katie Trogdon, Christopher Trogdon and Jocoby Trogdon; and his great grandchild Peyton White of Jase White.
