We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 48, Tai Anese McRae (Asheboro, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Hilda McRae; her aunts, Everlyne Headen, Beulah Baldwin and Doris McRae; and her cousins, Hurley Leon McRae, Quanta McRae and Tony McRae.
She is survived by: her aunt Betty Lilly of Randleman; her uncle George Headen; and her cousins, Lemonda McRae, DeShandra Woodle (Timothy), Andra Lynn and Mischale Carl (Jesse). She is also survived by cousins and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gailes Funeral Home, Inc. (1353 E Salisbury St, Asheboro, NC 27203). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Holy Church (328 Greensboro St, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at 1120 Old Cedar Falls Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203.
