He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Gene Russell and Nancy Marie Greene Hill; and his niece Ashley Bumgarner. He is survived by: his significant other John McAlister; his sister Tammy Bumgarner of Warsaw; his niece Latisha Crotts (Charles) of Lexington; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler, Cameron, Dasie and Karisma; and his close friends, Mark Earnhardt and Melissa Earnhardt Murry. He is also survived by one uncle and numerous aunts.
