As we bid Shirley Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Shirley Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Davis and Lydia Wilson Davis; her brother Franklin Delano Davis; and her daughter Tina Marie Gelsomino. She is survived by: her husband Michael Gelsomino; her children, Robert Gelsomino (JoAnne) of Asheboro, NC and Terry Gelsomino of Spring Valley, CA; and her grandsons, Michael Gelsomino (Regina) of Newton, AL and Anthony Gelsomino of Greensboro, NC.. She is also survived by Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her honor to Wounded Warrior Project, any K9 nonprofit or Gentiva Hospice of Asheboro.
