She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Easler and Virginia Pearl Cudd Easler; and her husband Woodrow "Woody" Newkirk. She is survived by: her son Chris Easler (Christina) of Asheboro; her grandchild Ryan Hazelwood; and her sister-in-law Ziada Newkirk (Wayne) of Kernersville.
