He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Homer Brady and Lucy Gatlin Brady Powers; and his brothers, Vernon Brady, Raeford Brady and Jesse "Bub" Brady.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Jones Brady; his son Randy Brady (Cathy) of Asheboro; his siblings, Linda Faye Wright (Donny) of Asheboro, Dianne Pierce (Darrell) of Seagrove, Grace Ritter of Asheboro, Kaye Durham (Jimmy) of Asheboro, Odell Brady (Carolyn) of Ramseur, Ronnie Brady of Bennett, Jerry Brady of Seagrove and Kenny Brady (Sandra) of Ramseur; his granddaughter Crystal Lockhart; his great grandchildren, Tyler Hammonds and Brooklyn Hutchins; his sisters-in-law, Eva Brady of Asheboro, Tina Brady of Bennett and Ruby Brady of Asheboro; and his stepsiblings, Pat McAlister of Ramseur, Linda Langley of Staley and Johnny Powers (Diane) of Ramseur. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, 41 great-nieces and nephews, and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews.
