He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Edward and Zella Maggie Coxton Harris. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Harris; his daughter Amanda Stoneman (Steven) of Asheboro; his grandson Joshua Brower (Arielle Burpee) of Asheboro; and his siblings, Sam Harris (Barbara), James Arnold Harris, Patty Helton (Willard), Susie Keen (Ronnie) and Ruby Caudill.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
