He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildren O. Summerlin and Robert L. Summerlin. He is survived by: his children, Misty Gail Butler (Marty) of High Point and Jamie Udell Pugh (Michelle) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Savanna Lucas, Ellie Butler, Brandon, Alyssa Pugh and Soon; and his siblings, Sandy Kay Rich (late CW) of Sophia, Danny Lee Summerlin of Asheboro, Joel Bruce Summerlin of Sophia and Carolyn Ann Brown (Vernon) of Seagrove. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children, friends.
