He is survived by: his children, Annette Oxendine-Loflin, Anita Faye Oxendine, Janet Lee Oxendine of Asheboro, Roger Dale Brooks of Pembroke and Cynthia Gail Oxendine (Xavier Timothy Lamar); his son-in-law Jose Hernandez of Rockingham; his former wife Martha Bell Locklear of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Corey Daniel Oxendine, Bridget Lee Oxendine, Amber Lynn Spivey, Chelsey Lynn Oxendine-Williams, Miguel Lamont Ewing, Jr., Tre’Zure Nataleya Oxendine and Tristian Xavier Oxendine; and his great grandchildren, Dewayne Lee Armstrong, Jr., Kayden Elijah Oxendine, Skylen White and Kelianne White. He is also survived by his brothers in heart Lynn Earl Chavis and Russell Locklear and an abundance of family and friends.
