He was predeceased by: his parents, Brantley Harris Hill and Lola Hamilton Hill; and his brother Junie Hill. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Hill; his daughter Dana Hill Nance (Jeff) of Asheboro; his siblings, Rose Ashworth, Arlene Freeman, Grace Murray (Sonny) and Gilbert Hill (Frankie); his grandsons, Eli Nance (Bailey), Daniel Nance, Austin Nance and Sean Nance; and his great grandchild Theodore Nance.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church (2415 Hoover Hill Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
