It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Craven Poole of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Vernon Chaney; her husband Alfred Delton Poole; her daughter Gina Greene; her granddaughter Cassie Johnson; and her parents, Clennon Craven and Pauline Wilson Craven.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Carter (James) of Archdale and Debbie Utecht of Wisconsin; her grandchildren, Shane Allred of China Grove, Dena Acottzi (Raul) of Iowa, Shannon Huntley of Monroe, Jake of Archdale, Addisyn Carter of Archdale, Josh Pellowski, Travis Allred and Amy Alman; her great grandchildren, Jackson Allred, Hunter Whitcher, Jarrad Kimbrough and Tyler Allred; and her aunts, Mazie Wilson Craven of Asheboro and Daile Wilson Moody of Asheboro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and cousins.
