She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Matthew Davis and Willa Mae Cranford Davis; her son Rev. Joe E Luther, Jr.; and her sisters, Juanita Fitch, Mildred Williams and Virginia White.
She is survived by: her husband Joe E Luther, Sr.; her son Richard Luther of Asheboro; and her grandsons, Joe Luther, III, Richard Luther, Jr. and Michael Luther. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
