He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Crabtree Botts (Cindy); his children, Brian Botts (Jennifer) of Abingdon, MD, Gretchen Haralson (Chris) of Asheboro and Laura Merrill (Brandon) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Cody Ranes, Anna Haralson, Aaron Haralson, Emmett Merrill and Elliott Merrill; and his siblings, Walter Botts (Cathy), Edith McNeal (Ronnie) of Greensboro and Barbara Levan (Larry) of Greensboro. He is also survived by his children, siblings.
