He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Ward and Alice Wright Ward. He is survived by: his cousins, Nancy Ward Henderson of Hickory, Ann Ward Graves (David) of Asheboro and Bob White; and his friends, Tal Hardin, Vicki Miller (Gary) and Bob Coltrane.
