He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter and Frances Auman Voncannon; and his former wife Margaret Voncannon. He is survived by: his wife Doris Smith Voncannon; his sons, Glenn Voncannon of Seagrove, David Voncannon of Seagrove and Paul Voncannon of Sophia; his stepsons, Eric Henson, Ricky Henson and Tony Henson; and his siblings, James Raeford Voncannon of Seagrove and Mary Sue Shirley of Ramseur.
