He was predeceased by: his mother Jackie Bradley Hughes; and his grandparents, Edgar, Sara Hughes, Eugene and Doris Bradley of Enterprise, AL..
He is survived by: his wife Starla Cox Hughes; his sons, Ross Hughes and Ryan Hughes (Cara Martin) of Seneca, SC; his father Gerald Hughes of Asheboro; and his parents-in-law, Calvin and Darlene Cox of Seagrove. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
