She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Carden and Maude Hyder Carden; her sisters, Marie Carden, Nyla Reece Pierce and Lona Malone; her son-in-law Jim Ludolf; her siblings-in-law, Paul Malone, Jess Pierce and Jean Schretter; her nephew Terry Malone; and her friend Georgie Scott.
She is survived by: her significant other Clyde Buck Estep; her daughters, Faye Ludolf of Asheboro and Vicky White of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; her son-in-law Lee White of Elizabethton, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Steve Ludolf (Michelle) of Clemmons and Kate Kerekes (Ryan) of Oak Ridge; her great grandchildren, Sarah Ludolf, Zoe Grace Ludolf, Pearl Ludolf, Patrick Kerekes, Neven Kerekes and Trevor Kerekes; her brother-in-law Howard Schretter; and her nieces and nephews, Mike Malone (Jan), Karen Reece Ryan, Jim Reece, Deborah Schretter (Burkhard Straub), Teresa Coker (Jerry), Philip Schretter (Ana) and Andrew Schretter (Paola).
