With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Vaillancourt Whitehead of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Armand Robert and Juanita Medford Vaillancourt. She is survived by: her caregiver Michael Dugan; her husband Charles Michael "Micky" Whitehead; her children, Cheryl Whitehead Hollady (Mark) of Lusby, MD and Charles Michael "Mike" Whitehead, Jr. (Sandy) of Ramseur; her siblings, Cecil Kirkpatrick of Leicester, NC, Mildred "Mimi" Dobbins (Mike) of Creston, NC and Armand Robert "Bob" Vaillancourt, Jr. (Darlene) of Asheville; and her grandchildren, Jordan Allen Hollady, Taylor Hollady Flemming (Tyler), Austin Michael Whitehead and Carson Matthew Whitehead.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 512 W. Wainman Ave., Asheboro, NC 27203.
