Orene Akers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2020, at the age of 87, Orene Akers of Asheboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Morris and Virginia Trotter Morris; her husband Donald Akers; her sons, Terry McDowell and Perry McDowell; and her siblings, Bobby Morris, Albert "Bee" Morris, Faye Leonard and Doris Deaton.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Allred of Asheboro and Jimmy McDowell (Kathy) of Asheboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
