She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Humble and Neudy Humble; her husband Thomas "Tom" Ballentine; her stepson William "Bill" Ballentine; her siblings, Fritz Humble, Frentess Humble and Carlene Ingram; and her grandchildren, David Maurice Dickens and Christina "Christy" Edmonds King.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Edmonds Brown (Eddie), Jo Ann Edmonds Dickens, Rossie Edmonds Locke, Ruth Edmonds Harris and John Franklin Edmonds; her brother James Harvey Humble; and her grandchildren, Bobby Dickens, Darrell Dickens, Lloyd Locke, Lisa Batts, Robbie Freeman, Mike Freeman, Chris Harris, Luke Brown and Lee Brown. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and five great-great-great grandchildren.
