She was predeceased by: her husband Otis Raymond Lucas; her daughter Lana Sue Lucas; her parents, Oliver Dicks and Sadie Gaddis Dicks; and her brother James Gaddis.
She is survived by: her children, Deloris Parker of Holden Beach and Randal Lucas of Asheboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.
