She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Lucas and Nettie Catherine Freeman Lucas; her husband Robert Wilson Beane; her daughter Betty Ann McDonald; and her brother James Lucas.
She is survived by: her grandson Todd McDonald (Carmen) of Greenville, NC; her son-in-law Ray McDonald; her great grandchildren, Nathan McDonald, Ridge McDonald, Abby Marcum, Matty Marcum and Cooper Marcum; her nephew Donald Lucas; and her nieces, Cynthia Brooks and Evona Seagraves.
