It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mozelle Luther Callicutt of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dewey Luther Sr. and Lucille Hurley Luther; her husband Dossie "Bert" Callicutt; her brothers, Samp Luther and George Luther; and her close friends, Dorothy and Douglas Floyd.
She is survived by: her children, Panda Burgess (Alan) of Franklinville, Ella Ward (Douglas) of Asheboro, Rhonda Ray (Donald) of Asheboro and Michael Callicutt (Dorothy) of Asheboro; and her siblings, Oteen L. Boykin of Asheboro, Florence Chisholm (Charles) of Asheboro, Marcella Hill (Hoyle) of Denton and Ralph Franklin Luther of Asheboro. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
