It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Hopkins of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Overton and Carnie Hall Overton; and her siblings, Jesse, Walter, Lacy, Delbert, Franklin and Effie Haddock.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hopkins, Larry Hopkins, Kenny Hopkins, Sharon York and Kathy Hathaway; and her brother Clyde Overton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; a lot of great grandchildren.
