She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Exton McDowell and Ocia Edna Small McDowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Nixon (Jeff) of Franklinville and Charlotte Cranford of Asheboro; her siblings, Louise Lambeth of Thomasville, Ora Clark of Asheboro, Ruby Bristow of Asheboro and Fred McDowell (Shelvia) of Castle Hayne; her grandchildren, Megan Sexton, Aaron Nixon, Caleb Cranford and Rihanna Cranford; and her great grandchildren, Lakely Sexton, Whitley Sexton and Kobe Clark.
