He was predeceased by: his parents, Berta Mae and Harold McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Joy Spoon; his daughter Tiffany Ely (Rick) of Asheboro; his granddaughters, Callie and Caroline; his sister Pat Clark (Harold); his niece Misty Clark; and his nephews, Bill Clark and Norman.
