He is survived by: his wife Betsy Johnson; his children, Michael Johnson (Julie) of Milton, GA, Keith Johnson (Melinda) of Hilton Head, SC and Amy Johnson Byrd (Andrew) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Jason, Gus, Sidney, George, Ashten, Callie and Annie; and his great grandchildren, Collier, Ella and Lenora.
