It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mathie Simmons Hall of Asheboro, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pete Simmons and Ada Cain Simmons; her son Timothy Lynn Hall; and her siblings, Josephine Simmons Carter, Shirley Simmons Allred, Boyd Simmons, Melvin Lee Simmons, Robert Simmons, Jerry Simmons, Roland Simmons, Vernice Simmons and John Simmons.
She is survived by: her son Steven Gregory Hall (Suzanne) of Asheboro; her grandchildren, Gregory Scott Hall and Julie Robbins Jackson (Dylan); and her great grandchildren, Kallie Lynn Jackson, Kelsie Dawn Jackson and Ashley Nicole Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
