She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Cooper and Emma Thompson Cooper; her husband Carl V. Perdue; her son Carlos Lee Perdue; and her siblings, Hattie Mae Garner, Wilma Cooper and Wayne Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Hughes (H. A.) of Asheboro, Stacie Perdue York (Scottie) of Asheboro and Hope Perdue of Asheboro; her siblings, Alice Craven (Pete) of Asheboro and Ernie Cooper (Linda) of Salisbury; her granddaughters, Dawn Johnson (Nathan), Haleigh York (Bailey Henderson), Tiffany York and Lexie York; and her great grandchildren, Emily Johnson (Brett McElroy) and Natalee Johnson.
