With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Burns of Asheboro, North Carolina, born in Wise, Virginia, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Barney Powers and Mary Salyers Powers; and her brothers, James Powers and Barney Powers, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jeffery Burns; her children, Patricia Dobbins of Asheboro, Cathy Latham of Bedford, VA, Sharon Irvine (Larry) of Elliston, VA, Matthew Dobbins (Laurie) of Asheboro and Jamielynn Boothe of Connecticut; and her sister Doris Doddie (Jack) of Livonia, MI. She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
